  1. Bart – how thrilled I am to have found you – and what an astonishing life you have lived and are living! I remember you with great fondness – and real gratitude for your poetic sensitivities. You introduced me to Denise Levertov in gifting me The Freeing of the Dust. I am eager to read your work. I’m dazzled, really – sending you very best wishes –

    1. David! What a wonderful surprise to hear from you. I’m so glad you reached out. I remember you from the French program at Baylor, plus we were in one of Annie Laurie Miller’s English courses, too. I hope life is treating you well. :–)

      1. Great! I remember you very well, especially since we were both English majors. My name was Carol Small back then. I was in the same class as Luann Purcell, Stephen Petty, Lisa Simmons, and many others.
